We are seeking a creative, resourceful and analytical sales engineer to join us!
Sales Engineer (Office: Shenzhen, China or Sales Representative in the US, GE, UK,FR,UK and the other EU countries )
Position Summary
1.To role a bridge between the company and the target customers.
2. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
3.Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the our products/services.
4.Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
5. Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
6.Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
7.Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
8. Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to Sales Manager.
9. Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
10. Identifies advantages and compares our products/services.
11. Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
12. Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
13.Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
14. Participates in trade shows and conventions.
Sales Representative Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales.
1) Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Civil Engineering, etc.); Master degree with research experience preferred.
2) Experience in engineering consulting is a plus; Results-oriented
3) Solid knowledge of technical product development process;
4) A results oriented, team player with the drive to succeed and highly motivated to learn in a faced paced startup environment.
5)Chinese language capability a plus
6)RC/multi-rotor experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
7)Experience with International companies and cross cultural work environments
8)Ideally, prior experience working for or with a Chinese/Asian company
9)Ideally, experience in Consumer Electronics Industry
